My deepest condolences to the family.

Martha was a beautiful person who dearly loved her family and friends. I am grateful for the love and the laughter she gave to my children, Katherine and Jake. She enjoyed spending time with them at her beach house and was most content when they were around. The three of them could laugh about anything and everything. We will miss her immensely and are thankful for the time that we shared with her.

- Annie Hansen, Beaufort, SC

Dear Sarah, John Paul, and family, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother. I know she loved you all very much. I enjoyed babysitting for her and your Dad when you where young. She was always so sweet to me. I know she will be missed terribly.

Martha was the most kind, open minded, generous person. I have ever known. She was the kind of person you could talk to for hours. On whatever topic. She had charisma and knew what to say if you were feeling down. She was a wonderful person to have known and will be missed and loved forever.

Martha was a great sister to have. When we were young we would go dancing, go to parties and had all the same friends. She was my friend, my back up and the best sister anyone could ask for. She raised a lovely family. And was a great person to know. I will never forget her.
